How to manually download nexus mods new vegas
I tried to manually download the files from the nexus page, but apparently I don’t have an app that can view the files. I never had this kind of problem with other mods, as they would automatically show up in my downloads or I could just unzip them using Winrar.
While manually installing mods may seem to be difficult at first, it is actually a very simple process once you get the hang of it. Nexus offers a few tutorials on how to download using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) and on how to manually install. But just as a quick summary of it:
I don’t know too much about Nexus Mod manager. I believe there is a wiki about setting it up and general problems with it though. If you have it installed, you should be able to just click on a mod that says ‘Download with NMM’ and should automatically open the program, as far as I’m aware.

Certain mods WILL require the program(for New Vegas) NVSE, which stands for New Vegas Script Extender. In the description of the mod, it will say the requirements for that mod. After the mod is activated, test it out by playing the game (if being played while you do this guide, than restart the game.) If your mod works, than congradulations, you can easly mod certain Bethesda games and others!!!
